New Pastor Installed

On Sunday August 4th, Pastor Diego Silvano was installed as the new pastor of the Iglesia Bautista Biblica in Rosario Argentina.

Pastor Silvano is a product of this church, having taken an active part since his conversion and baptism. This year he will complete his studies in the Seminario Bautista Biblico del Cono Sur. He was an effective soul winner even before expressing his call to the ministry and was ordained in our church with the participation of pastors representing other churches in Argentina. He had served faithfully as co-pastor for more than a year and the church gave him an enthusiastic welcome as their pastor. In the same service I was recognized as the Pastor Emeritus, and will assist as needed though my major ministry will be with the Seminary, which operates in the Mendoza street church.

Marie and I have traveled to the USA for a month to take care of some medical and personal needs, and will be returning to Argentina soon. Pray for the Stricklands.
