Quito, Ecuador August 2007Dear Pastor, What a blessing to serve the Lord in Quito, Ecuador! We have had several summer visitors this year. Mostly for brief visits as they minister elsewhere. I just finished teaching a course in the Bible institute on the Life of Paul and am preparing the next course on Pastoral Theology, which begins in a few days. I was also invited to be the camp speaker for our student ministry this year. What a challenge! Things went well. We had almost 60 campers and several of them were saved at camp. Many of the believers committed themselves to God’s purpose in their lives. Sharon’s involvement in the prison ministry continues to reap fruit. Last week, another prisoner saw her need of a Savior! Thank you very much for your generous support of our ministry. In an effort to encourage a young missionary the other day, I told him not to worry about how the Lord would supply his needs. God usually surprises us. It has always been our case that He allows some churches to drop our support while at the same time other supporters increase their financial support of our ministry. With that in mind, we do not need to raise additional funds but we do feel responsible to “report” to our supporters. We do not take for granted your efforts in maintaining our family and ministry. If you would like us to be involved in a Mission Conference or a particular church service, just let us know. Thank you for allowing the Lord to work in and through you so that Ecuadorians can have the opportunity to hear the Good News! Gratefully,
