FAQ

Thank you very much for continuing your prayerful support on our behalf.

Here are the answers to the most Frequently Asked Questions, for which I have answers.

How is your ministry?

Our churches are faring well. Fernando Páez is doing very well as pastor of the main church. There has been significant growth in attendance, evangelism, baptisms, discipleship and ministry.

Lately, I have been visiting some of our other churches. It is encouraging to see the Lord’s blessings upon our men and their ministries.

Our Bible Institute classes are going well. We have nearly 40 students from several churches. At the moment, Cristhian Jiménez, Fernando Páez and I are all teaching classes.

Tell me about your family.

Sharon has a full schedule of ministry. Her jail ministry occupies a lot of her time. Every chance she gets, she helps out at Precious Miracles. The next big event is the Ladies’ Retreat in July.

Zac and Mandy and their three adorable kids are doing well in Colorado. They have recently moved to Castle Rock. We are happy with the great blessings of God upon their lives. zacsmith.com

Stacey has an incredible ministry to abandoned children in Ecuador. We are thrilled with the way God continues to use her life. Some major changes are happening in her ministry. Precious Miracles

When are you going to take a furlough?

Instead of taking a full year furlough every four or five years, we have determined that our ministry is better served by taking a few weeks each year. So we accept invitations to missions conferences whenever possible. It has worked very well, so far. We are presently putting together our travel plans for next fall and next spring. If you would like to invite us to participate in a missions conference or just be in one of your church services, please contact us by E-mail, phone or letter.

Sincerely grateful,

Jim and Sharon Smith
