Dear Pastor and Church,
I am sure you are like me, wondering where does the time go. It seems that
only a few weeks have passed since we last wrote when it has already been a
couple of months. Let me take a few minutes of your time to share some
things with you.
We started the new mission in Juan Pablo the 16th of September. We are
praying for great blessings from the Lord in the new work and ask that you
pray with us.
On the 29th of July we celebrated the 29th anniversary of the church in Pro
with good attendance.
Almost 500 were present for the service. The Lord has blessed the church
with a great location and a nice building, thanks to the faithfulness of
many of God’s people who have prayed and given to make this possible.
We started small group meetings in 22 homes of our members last week and had
an attendance of over 200, with many decisions made for salvation. The
purpose of the
meetings
is to invite friends, neighbors, and family members that do not attend any
evangelical church for a time of Bible study. Pray that the Lord will bless
this effort to reach many for Him and to see the ones that attend the small
group meetings to become a part of the mother church.
The new work in Alabarada is still without property. The property that we
are trying to buy still does not have a legal title so we are sitting with
the money in the bank until the Lord opens the door He has for us. We will
be putting up a temporary building this month on a lot that a Christian
family is letting us use until we can buy property. At least we can have
Bible studies out of the weather. Pray with us that the Lord will show us
His will in this work.
