Dear Pastor and Friends:

Recently we have encouraged our people to pray more often for the Lord to add more familiesto our church ... serious families. Shortly afterward a young married man attended. He was a cousin to a couple of our members. He had attended before ... but with large spaces between visits. Instead of the yearly visit, he showed up again in a few weeks. The space between visits shortened and he was attending quite well. Then he came on Sunday night determined to be saved!!

Now Manoel is saved, but that's only half of a new family. His wife, Marilene, was a very devout Catholic. Slowly she began coming with Manoel, but soon was coming every Sunday, bringing their sweet daughter, Livia. Recently she was saved. Her testimony about her salvation impressed our people.

Please pray for them; for their growth and their participation in the church's ministry.

The 14 churches mentioned at the end of the video are from the first 20 years we served in Recife.  There are now a total of 19 chruches that we have either established or had a part in.

On a personal side: My mom, Doris Lee, went to be with the Lord on April 1st after battling cancer for 3 1/2 years.  She was one of the thousnad of unsung heroes...those who are faithful, praying and serving in our churches.  She was our most faithful prayer warrior...praying for each child, grandchild and great grandchile, by name, everyday.  I am so thankful for the 89 years of her life and example to all of us.
