Ray Masters - Missionary to Argentina

ARGENTINA

Bro. Ray asked me to write this account of a blessing that warmed our hearts.

Last Friday Ray called a men's meeting to arrange ways in which he could get more men involved in the different functions of the church.

Gabriel Alverez was present. He is the father from Uruguay that is here because his baby has had a tumor removed and is presently under Chemotherapy. He has been a tremendous testimony of God’s grace to many people who are suffering.

He told the men of one young man, in his 20’s, whose baby had died in the hospital. When he witnessed to him telling him that he could have hope in seeing his baby again, the young father said he was a Christian and since he knew Christ as his Savior he knew that he would see his baby again. Just then they called him to take care of the legal aspects of his baby’s passing so Gabriel could not talk to him any more.

The grandmother came up to Gabriel at that time telling him that about 20 years ago she had taken her young son to a tent revival where they showed a film about Jesus

And he received the Lord in that moment. That meeting was on the newly bought property of our church where we held a tent revival before the building project began.

The Grandmother said that they had moved away and had lost contact with the church.

One thing is sure that they never lost contact with God. Gabriel is trying to find them and learn more about them.

Again God has answered His promise to us when we first came to Córdoba, Argentina. “Cast your bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.” Eccl. 11:1
