Jenny Carpenter - Missionary to Ecuador

Jenny Carpenter became seriously ill at age four and was facing a very dangerous surgery. Her mother prayed for God's protection and promised her support in whatever God had planned for Jenny's life. The surgery was successful.

At the age of 16 she was under conviction during a serŽmon on the reality of hell. She put off a decision for a year and was saved the next summer in the dorm at youth camp. Two weeks later she was baptized, and in August of the same summer surrendered her life to do whatever the Lord had planned.

While attending Atlantic Baptist Bible College, Jenny was a member of the drama team and traveled for the school on weekends.

In 1999 she moved to Melbourne, Florida, to teach at the Brevard Christian School and serve at Bethany Baptist Church. While there she worked in various outreach ministries and went on a summer missions trip to work with Clifford and Neoma McGhee. She later returned to Ecuador to work as a short-term missionary.

In June 2005, Jenny made the decision to become a career missionary. She is anxious to return to the McGhee family and the ministry she has in Ecuador.
